Bridemaid Speeches that are Light-Hearted

There is no reason to make your bridesmaid speeches too serious. Adding some humor is a good policy for any speech. The wedding guests are looking for something that can relax them and make them feel good inside. Explain to them that the bride is a wonderful person and that you are glad that you had been chosen as the maid or honor. Also, talk about how lucky the bride is since she is marrying such a nice man and that you actually feel a bit jealous of the special connection that they have with each other. Also, mention that you will be there in the future for the lovely couple and that you know that it was destiny that brought them together.
