Searching Online for More Information about Ares

I have always been interested in peer to peer filesharing. However, I have heard so many horror stories that I have never downloaded any. I can not risk having my computer infected with a virus or spyware. However, I have heard good things about Ares for filesharing. So, I have been searching for more information about it. I want to learn how secure it is, who manages it, etc. Once I have all of that information I will feel like I can make an educated decision. I am just hoping that it is as good as everyone says it is!
