Investing in Fuad El-Hibri

I was just talking to my sister the other night and as we were discussing the economy and such she brought up an investment that her and her husband were thinking of making. I thought it was a bad time to make an investment unless you were sure it was a good one but she seemed to think that this company run buy a man named Fuad El-Hibri was a secure one. It was in a biotech company and they seemed to have done plenty of research. I am actually now considering making the same investment myself. Obviously I will have to wait and do my own research but this gives me a good place to start.
