Finding A Cell Number of a Old Highschool Friend

I had a old girlfriend in high school and I would like to find her. I haven’t talked to her for years. I am not sure where to start. I am going to try and do a lookup cell phone numbers on one of the sites. There are a lot of sites that say you can get it. I put in her name and state I thought she used to live in. There was a lot and family members were listed. I just don’t recognize any of them. I need to find an old letter from her and I am sure she listed two of her children’s names.
