I Can Paint Mom’s Fence, But She Has To Hire a Handyman For the Concrete Repairs

My mom called me the other day, and asked if I would be able to do some work around her house. I asked her what she had in mind, and she said that she wanted the cracks in her walkway fixed, and the fence painted. I told her that I could do the painting for her, but that she would need to hire a handyman to do the repairs in the concrete. She asked me why, and I told her that I had never done concrete before, and I didn’t want to make a mess of it. She told me I had a good point!
