Changes for Aging Family Members

One of the biggest changes that families can go through is when a loved one ages. This causes many, many changes to life, and usually will require some changes to be made to the home as well. Doorways and stairways will need to be made wheelchair accessible, and the bathroom often needs some attention. One great idea is to install a handicap shower tub unit in the bathroom that will be used most. This change may be more costly, but it is always worth it. Making the bathroom safer is a decision that is almost never regretted, as it is a place where a lot of falls happen for the elderly.
