Working Overtime Before Filing Chapter 7

Some people that are seriously thinking about filing chapter 7 are always concerned about their income level that might be inflated due to working overtime. Some people even have a part-time job in addition to their full time job. Debtors worry that their height and income might make them in eligible to file chapter 7 because of the means test. Putting the overtime or quitting the part-time job, might seem like a reasonable idea, but will the bankruptcy trustee see it as the same way. The good news is that most attorneys have concluded that a debtor is not required to continue working overtime just to be able to pay their debts.
