Even Smart Inventors Need Guidance

By admin | January 12, 2010

My brother Greg was always trying to figure out a better way to do things, even as a kid.  This trait eventually caused him to develop a new process which he decided he could sell to manufacturing companies.  I told him to talk to an attorney first but my brother went ahead and sold the idea on his own.  He got a few thousand dollars but, too late, realized the company which bought his idea was making millions off of it.  The following year he contacted a patent attorney about his next big idea and it made him wealthy.  I have not stopped  teasing my brother about who is the smartest in the family.
